ROCHELLE BRAND

Rochelle, Illinois needed to grow its tax base and provide activities and retail opportunities to keep current and future residents home on nights and weekends to spend their time and money in Rochelle.

Forsell Design was asked to design a brand and marketing campaign that focused on their new brand personality, which is:

•    Outgoing, active, youthful

•    Caring, dependable, family-centric

•    Friendly, jovial and generous

•    Forward thinking, hard-working

A new downtown plaza is being designed to create a welcoming gathering place alive with music, food, an incredible year-round public market, and multi-cultural entertainment that is programmed more than 250 days a year.

​

The logo and brand tie into the city's industrial railroad history, the high volume of Chicago commuters, and a new younger demographic mix.

​

The goal was to showcase the best activities and amenities that make Rochelle the best place to live work and play in northern Illinois.
